NY’s proto-seminal band The Colors is sparking a musical revolution.
Since their inception in 1958, the band has slipped into obscurity,
but now their massive body of work, from banned gay celebration funk
anthems, jingles and doo-wops to cartoon jazz, bollywood funk,
computer game and TV themes, can be heard live once more.
